An Artistic Upbringing and Creative Exploration:
Honey's artistic prowess is deeply rooted in her father's influence. As a lawyer and artist, he possessed an array of talents that left a lasting impression on Honey. I still remember the family portrait painting proudly displayed in their living room, stands as a testament to his artistic skill. While Honey's journey into art began as a hobby, her talent soon flourished, leading to exhibits such as the influential "Frailty," a group exhibit featuring the works of female artists. Balancing a Busy Life and a Passion for Cooking:
While Honey's artistic pursuits continue to inspire her, the demands of a hectic life often prevent her from painting as much as she would like. However, a new passion has emerged in the form of cooking, providing a creative outlet amidst her busy schedule. From a young age, Honey's interest in the culinary arts was also nurtured by her father. Cooking has become a therapeutic activity that allows her to honor her father's memory while exploring new flavors and techniques. As she embraces her dual passions, Honey strives to strike a harmonious balance between art and cooking.
Educational and Professional Achievements:
Honey's journey in the arts was shaped by her education at the University of the Philippines, where she majored in Visual Communication within
the Fine Arts program, graduating in 2000. Following her studies, she began her professional career as a graphic artist at Viva Video, working under the Disney umbrella. Seeking fresh challenges, Honey relocated to Kuwait, where she continued her graphic arts career before eventually becoming an art director in an advertising media and production company. In 2003, she made another move, this time to Singapore, in search of greater opportunities and closer proximity to her home country. Finally, she settled in Goa, India together with her family, the birthplace of her husband, Sean, who shares her passion for the arts as a 3D visualizer and architectural planner based in Singapore.
